Greg Roberts has more than 37 years of commercial banking experience and participated in over $5 billion of financing transactions. Greg has a keen understanding of alternative capital structures and the ever changing landscape of participants. He has participated in the evaluation of hundreds of restructurings and recapitalizations in a variety of industries, including, but not limited to, automotive supply, steel service centers, beverage distribution, contracting, wholesalers, retail and commercial real estate.

Roberts is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan Dearborn. He has also served as an advisory board member of Vista Maria for almost 20 years.

As Senior Managing Director of Van Conway and Partners, he has assembled a team of preferred service providers to attack the embedded cost of running a business. Previous Experience

Prior to joining Van Conway & Partners, Roberts was an Executive Director at Conway MacKenzie. Prior to Conway MacKenzie, he oversaw the transformation of a $750 million community banking portfolio at The Private Bank. Greg also held management positions in commercial lending at LaSalle National Bank and Comerica Bank.
